One of the easiest ways to get more materials, so that you can rebuild the island rapidly and get more prestige, is simply to play the same round over and over with the energy that you have left. This is also a great way to beat the best scores that your friends have, since the more you play, you memorize where everything is, allowing you to click everything as quickly as possible.

Do this until your energy runs out so that you can collect tons of materials. Then go to your island build area and complete all of the builds and upgrades that you can, using all of the coins and materials that you win. Ask your Facebook friends for energy, as well.
