The dotMatrix Drum Machine is fun and easy mobile music maker. The heart of dotMatrix is the 8x16 (8 instruments and 16 steps) drum matrix that is easy and intuitive. You can create intricate and interesting rhythms in a matter of seconds yet the dotMatrix provides the depth to continue tweaking beats for hours. The other revolutionary part of the dotMatrix is the ability to easily automate 7 different parameters for each of the 8 instruments. With up to 64 patterns and the ability to make a sequence that is 32 patterns long, you can make something really complex. Any CD quality .wav or .aif file can be used in any of the 8 instrument sample players. The dotMatrix can save your beats as a proprietary text file or you can export your sequence a a CD quality .wav or a Standard MIDI file for easy integration in a digital audio workstation program like Ableton Live, or Logic.
