All you need to do is:
1. Login to any of the social networks like Facebook, Gmail, Twitter. App will then get all of your friends profile pics.
2. Assign a pic from your social contacts to phone contact(App makes it easy with suggestions).
You are done.
Make/receive a call, you will see real photo of your friend on calling screen. Choose how you wish to see your friends pic, as large pic or small pic.
