The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), the professional organization representing more than 10,000 oral and maxillofacial surgeons and their staff, supports its members' ability to practice their specialty through education, research, and advocacy. AAOMS members comply with rigorous continuing education requirements and submit to periodic office examinations, ensuring the public that office procedures and personnel meet stringent national standards.

The AAOMS Annual Meeting, Scientific Sessions and Exhibition provides OMSs, their staff and guests the opportunity to network and further their professional development. The annual AAOMS Dental Implant Conference offers an intensive educational program and exhibition for the entire implant team.
