As the Chicken Road Rush progresses, new eggs appear at regular intervals, and players must effectively manage the available space to prevent overcrowding. The primary objective of Chicken Road Rush is to evolve the eggs and complete each level within the allotted time.

Points accumulated during gameplay can be used to unlock different types of eggs, each offering unique characteristics and evolving into more valuable forms. Various multipliers may appear during the game, enhancing the point values of evolved eggs.

The Chicken Road Rush includes multiple screens, such as settings and a chicken selection dialog, where players can adjust their audio preferences. A pause function is also available during gameplay, allowing players to take a break without losing progress. After each level in Chicken Road Rush, a game-over screen presents the option to either replay or return to the main menu.
