Fundación Plan21 is an organization born in Argentina that works to preserve natural resources and improve the quality of life for communities through participatory processes while promoting the implementation of best practices, in both the private and public sector, to achieve sustainable development. Fundación Plan21 operates many successful programs that focus on a variety of issues including sustainable tourism, climate change, conservation, and local sustainable development.

Carbonocero is the Plan21’s initiative for Latin America, that seeks to raise awareness about climate change and offer companies and responsible citizens the possibility to offset their carbon footprint through a voluntary contribution that will be used to finance education campaigns and the implementation of projects for reduction of greenhouse gases, afforestation and management and conservation of native forest.
