This is the 2022 version of Canadian Accent Pro. It comprises new recordings from native Canadian speakers in 2022. Since the total file size of recordings increased, and cause the app size increased, we have to release 2022 version. The original Canadian Accent Pro has recordings from 2021 and Canadian Accent 2022 Pro has recordings from 2022. Please download both if you want to study more.

This app helps people speaking English as a second language to speak Canadian English Accent or help native English speakers of non-Canadian Accents to speak Canadian Accent. This app consists short recordings from 23rd prime minister of Canada Justin Trudeau and CBC reporter Talia Ricci speeches (for educational purpose). Users of the app can listen to the speeches and record their own voices at the same time, and then listen to the recorded voice to compare the deficiencies between their voices and original speaker.

In the Pro version, users can use Automatic Speech Recognition technology to test their speeches. It will compare the automatic recognized speech with the original Canadian Speaker speech and give a score to indicate how close the user speaking like a Canadian. It also tells whether the user improve or not from the last test by calculating the score difference.

With the new speed and pitch control playback capability, you can listen the speakers' and your own final sounds of each words slowly and clearly, compare them and correct your pronunciation. Not just the final sounds, you can review the whole sentence flow by adjusting the speed and/or pitch.

By repeating the same process, every user can monitor the learning progress and gradually speaks Native English sounds like a Canadian.
