Call - Random Video Chat

Call puts you on a 1:1 video call with someone you haven't met. Check how you look in the Lounge, tap Start video chat, and you go straight into a video call with a random stranger. Or find someone in Discover and ring their phone.

▣ RANDOM VIDEO CHAT

1. Open the Lounge and see yourself in the front-camera Preview before you start

2. Tap Start video chat to join the queue

3. When someone else is waiting, you're both taken straight into a 1:1 video call

• Hang up and the match ends — tap Start video chat again for the next person

• No one waiting? Browse Discover instead

▣ MATCH FILTERS

• Under the Preview, pick Women or Men, a country, or both

• With no filter, a random match costs no gems

• With a filter, gems are spent only when a match is made — a wait that ends without a match costs nothing

• Filters work both ways: the other person's filters must accept you too

▣ CALL FROM DISCOVER

• Each card shows a nickname, up to three interest tags, and an Online dot for people active recently

• Tap Call on a card and their phone rings with an Incoming call screen — they can Answer or Decline

• When they answer, you're both in a 1:1 video call

• The notification never names the caller; only the Incoming call screen shows their nickname and tags

• Filter by Female or Male

▣ NO SIGN-UP

• No email, phone number or password — pick a nickname, gender and date of birth; interest tags are optional

▣ VIDEO CALLS

• 1:1 video and voice over WebRTC, encrypted in transit; mute, turn off or flip the camera during the call

• History lists each call's date, length and whether it connected

▣ GEMS

• Gems are earned, not bought — there is no in-app purchase in this app

• Earn gems by watching an optional rewarded ad

• Gems pay for two things: a filtered random match, and ringing someone from Discover

• A declined or unanswered Discover call costs no gems; the caller pays only when the other person answers

▣ SAFETY

• Before your first match, you'll see the house rules once: 18+ only, no nudity, respect, report minors

• Tap Report during a call: the call ends right away and that person is blocked

• Blocked people never match you again and can't ring you from Discover

• Reports are kept for our review; calls are never recorded or stored

• Delete your account from Settings — profile, gems and notification token are removed

▣ ADS

Call is supported by ads: a banner, a full-screen ad after a random video chat ends, an ad when you return to the app after a while, and optional rewarded ads that pay gems. Where your region requires ad consent, change it any time in Settings.

■ Please note

• This app is for adults. You'll be asked for your date of birth during onboarding.

• These are real strangers. Don't share personal details; use Report if someone makes you uncomfortable.

• The camera Preview in the Lounge stays on your phone. In a call, video and voice go directly between the two phones.

• Calls from Discover arrive as a notification, so allow notifications if you want your phone to ring.

• Video calls need a network that allows a direct peer-to-peer connection; on some mobile networks and strict office or campus Wi-Fi a call may fail to connect. Gems spent on it are not returned.

• Random matching uses one global queue, so your match can be anywhere in the world and may not speak your language. A filter narrows who you can meet, so the wait can take longer.
