The Calculators in Medicine app is an interactive tool, specially designed to provide practical support for general practitioners, clinicians and specialists in their daily work, even in the pediatric setting.

The calculations and formulas come from indexed medical-scientific literature and from documents published by international health institutions such as the WHO and the US CDC. The Calculators in Medicine app therefore represents a useful and reliable service but at the same time easy to use, which allows you to calculate risk factors, perform equations and evaluate formulas.

The calculators in the app are: asthma predictive index, BMI, creatinine clearance, LDL cholesterol (Friedewald's formula), HbA1c conversion, water deficiency, corticosteroid equivalence, HAS-BLED (haemorrhagic risk), CAP severity index (acquired pneumonia in community), HOMA-IR index (insulin resistance), BMI percentiles (2-20 years), height percentiles (2-20 years), head circumference percentiles (<24 months), weight percentiles (2-20 years), blood pressure mean, PSAV (PSA rate), PSADT (PSA doubling time), corrected QT, stone score (nephrolithiasis), VFG (CDK-EPI) and VFG (BIS1) for glomerular filtrate volume.

To facilitate the usability of the service, the system takes into account the history of the computers consulted. To access the app, no registration is required, only a password is required.
