This problem is known to every geocacher, that one should convert a word or sentence into a number and perhaps even take the cross-sum of it.

Since I had problems again and again the ÄÜÜß were not considered, I have now myself a small app for it written.

Here you can:

- Here you can count forward or backward.

- Ignore letters or numbers.

- Convert ÄÖÜß to "normal" letters.

- Define the start value for A freely.

Calculated:

- Cross sum

- Iterated cross sum

- Words

- Characters

- Product

Perhaps this can still use someone else, have fun with it!

The app is developed in learning programming, should not all work quite, I'm trying to fix that. So just write and I do my best.
