The ‘NEED’ android educational application, by WWF-Hong Kong is launched! This app targets teachers, students and all those who would like to learn more about the selected ecological hotspots in Hong Kong and the threats they are facing due to development.

Using this app, teachers can design their own field trips which can complement learning areas related to Sustainable Development for their students, while other users can investigate each of these areas for their uniqueness from the point of view of different stakeholders during their own visits.

Currently, the application covers five ecological hotspots: Lau Fau Shan and Tsim Bei Tsui, Nam Sang Wai, Ting Kok Road, Long Valley, and Mai Po and Inner Deep Bay.
