What can you do with WAtoX ?

WhatsApp is one of the most popular tool to share chats, messages and instants of life with friends and relatives. Sometimes, one could be interested to save and share… even print some parts of those discussions to make some books ! WAtoX brings to WhatsApp this functionality. The original WAtoX name comes from WhatsApp to X, X being whoever you want…

The principle is rather simple. Whatsapp allows to extract some discussions chats and send them through mail. WAtoX makes the link with WhatsApp and can import these data directly. The advanced mode even allows to receive from WhatsApp very large discussions with very large numbers of images and turn around the limitation imposed by the size of the mails.

Once in WAtoX, the discussions / chats are transformed in a list of messages that you can then clean by keeping only a time period, modifying some messages (to correct some typos for instance) and few other personalization possibilities.

After cleaning and personalizing, the discussions /chats can be exported and sent under various formats : simple html file to read locally through Firefox, from which you can generate a pdf file and print. It can be exported also in stand alone html files, either dedicated for printing (no compression of image files) or dedicated to be read on screen (with image compression).

These stand alone html files can be zipped and sent through mail to your relatives. We also have incorporated an exportation mode into word .doc documents that leads to some other convenient ways of sharing and personalizing your WAtoX book.

Coupled with the expert mode and image compression, you can generate books of several hundreds of pages with large number of photos, all packed in files of several megabits only.

WAtoX should bring nice tool to share even more your ideas and experiences with your communities. Create dedicated discussions where you will place specific comments and photos and WAtoX will allow you to compile and share the corresponding Books.

The app is served as is and user is sole responsible for its usage (especially in advanced mode). It is fully functionnal and totally free... When you are happy with it … do not hesitate to share and even contribute.. this will motivate the developer for further enhancements..

- Simple Mode – create a book in 3 clicks..

- Advanced Mode – extract very large discussions from WhatsApp.

- Visualization – where you can visualize the different books that you have generated

- Tools – Clean up and erase files that you do not need anymore.
