UBD CoNECT (The Centre of Networking, Employment and Career Training) is here to help make sure you have all the resources and information you need to help prepare you for your future career. The CoNECT App is a handy tool that allows users to stay on top of their personal career development while on the go. You can use the app to book appointments and events, maintain your resume and keep track of your career goals. Below are some of the functions that the app allows:

Our career clinics are designed to help you become better prepared and more confident in knowing what to expect for job applications, interviews and assessment days. They enable you to develop a more rounded set of skills and qualities that are highly desired by employers.

CoNECT help bring graduate jobs, internship opportunities, part-time vacancies and volunteering opportunities from various organisations into one place where you can browse and filter by sector, type and location to match their requirements.

Applicants can apply for a vacancy by simply attaching their CV and covering letter in response to a job posting.

Career Guides

Our career guides are available to book throughout term time and offer you the opportunity to discuss ideas about your career, have your CV checked over and practice mock interviews in a safe and friendly environment. Armed with a wealth of resources and tools our guides can help you understand your strengths, build confidence and open up new avenues.

My Career Passport

Our Career Passport is an exciting tool to help you map out your personal career journey! University is an ideal time to decide on a future and acquire skills needed to be successful. My Career Passport allows you to plan their time at UBD and work towards your ideal career choice by completing a list of skills that employers look for in this area. Once completed you will be set with a strong CV to apply for future positions.
