Give your thoughts a place to branch out. Sprigfolio helps you turn a project, a story or a plan into a clear mind map and an editable outline.

Start with one central topic, add branches and build the structure that makes sense to you. Work offline, without an account, ads or a subscription.

• Choose named branch colours and change sibling order.

• Move a branch with its subtopics using straightforward controls.

• Collapse parts of a map to focus on what matters now.

TWO VIEWS OF THE SAME WORK

Explore connections on the canvas, with pan, zoom, Fit and left- or right-growing layouts. Switch to the outline to select and edit the same topics through a structured list.

SAVE AND REVISE

Confirmed changes save on your device. Undo and redo recent changes while the map remains open, duplicate a map to try another direction, and find maps in your local library.

TAKE YOUR WORK WITH YOU

Export a full map or only the currently visible topics:

• PNG for a single map image.

• PDF for readable map pages, with larger maps split across overlapping pages.

• Plain text or Markdown for an ordered outline containing your topic notes.

Map images and PDFs show topic labels and a marker for topics with notes. Text and Markdown contain the note text. Large PNG exports have a size limit; use PDF or visible topics when needed.

Open a completed file to inspect it, save a copy through Android's document picker, or share it with an app you choose.

KEEP A BACKUP

Create a JSON backup of your library and save it somewhere you control. Restore previews a valid backup and adds independent copies of its maps. Your existing maps remain in place during a normal restore.

Your library stays in this app's local storage. There is no automatic cloud sync. Uninstalling Sprigfolio removes its local work, so save a backup first.

BUILT FOR FOCUSED MAPS

Use up to 100 maps, 200 topics per map and 24 levels below the central topic. Labels support up to 160 characters and notes up to 4,000 characters. A 16 MB library and backup size limit also applies. Choose system, light or dark appearance.

Sprigfolio is a tree-based mind map and outline maker for individual work. It does not include live collaboration, AI generation or a freeform whiteboard.
