Alwan, "Colors” in Arabic, is a Syrian social independent radio network, broadcasting 24/7, on air and online. It features a diversified portfolio of news, political, cultural and entertainment programs, focusing on women, children and human rights issues. The voice of Alwan reflects the colors of Syria and provides a platform that embraces the true character of the Syrian society by touching the hearts and memories of the listeners.

Since the 5th of April 2013, Alwan radio has been taking the less travelled road, the road of joy and hope, filling the air with news and stories, music and dreams, while also keeping a keen eye on the difficulties and pains of life. Our shades welcome and reflect all ideas, providing them with a space to mix and coalesce. Alwan is dedicated to be the voice of enlightenment, to support development and spread civil rights, promote peace and endorse tolerance.
