At Papott, we are convinced that the world will become a better and safer place if we all make a small effort to better know each other’s.

To reach this aim, Papott allows you to see who is around you, what are their hobbies, their jobs and their city of residence. With this basic information in mind, you can either consider that you now know these people a bit better or, ideally, you can break the ice and talk.

You are alone for lunch?

Open Papott and discover open-minded people around you who are eventually also alone at this point in time. Can you simply have lunch together? This is much better than eating alone! You may even make new friends or look at your current colleagues from a different perspective.

You are in public transportation?

True that it is sometime good to stay isolated and we won’t prevent you to enjoy it. But sometime it’s nice to talk to the people seating next to you. They may be very different from you… but it certainly makes them even more interesting!

But don’t worry, Papott won’t break the limits of your intimacy!

At any time, you can decide to be incognito. Being incognito will make you disappear from the list on other’s phone until you decide to be visible again. But being incognito will also prevent you to see who is around. It’s fair for all!

In French, “papoter” means “having a small talk”. This is the origin and the goal of this app: we simply want to make you “papott” and our app is so simple that everybody will be able to use it.
