Hometown Hainan Coffee is a local kopitiam created by the Koh family in honor of our ancestors and the legacy they left behind. At Hometown, our main goal is to share the delicious food and beverages passed down, generation to generation from our family to yours.

Back in 1899, our grandfather made the journey from Hainan to Kuala Lumpur to work in a kopitiam. He spent long hours creating delicious Hainanese foods and beverages by hand. After many years passed by, the Koh family had a vision to use modern appliances and technologies to produce these same great foods and beverages while preserving the hand-made taste of our past.

First launched in 2008 at Megan Salak Park, Desa Petaling the Koh family vision came into form. The brown, green, and yellow colours are reminiscent of our traditional roots while providing our guests with a cosy ambience in today’s modern world. Our menu features local and western foods ranging from traditional nasi lamak to curry mee to chicken chop as well as many beverage options such as our signature Hainanese Kopi. In addition to a wide variety of food and beverage options, Hometown provides our guests with free Wi-Fi, Astro TV, and Public Access PCs to meet your everyday needs

Today, Hometown enjoys success in the competitive food and beverage industry with five outlets in Desa Petaling, Kota Damansara, Taman SEA, Puchong and Bukit Tinggi.
