iMelCollect is based on the OpenDataKit and is used for handheld digital data collection. With this app you can conduct surveys or collect data that can be synchronized into a database. Use of this tool requires building a form and then downloading and aggregating the collected data with separate tools, which are part of iMEL Web application.

iMEL web consists of several software tools to help you with your digital data collection. Together, these tools allow any researcher to design and implement a research instrument for digital data collection, to perform the data collection in the field, and to then aggregate the collected data into a database. iMelCollect is based on the Open Data Kit's 'ODK Collect', and has been widely tested in extreme conditions for ease of use and reliability.

iMelCollect allows you to use XForms on your Android devices to implement data collection.
