BlinkCode is a diagnostic tool that uses your phone's camera to decode engine fault codes on most 1980sā1990s vehicles (OBD1). It reads and analyzes the blinking pattern of the check engine light to display error codes.
Set your car's ECU into fault code reading mode (for example, by shorting two pins in the diagnostic connector using a paperclip or a bit of wire).
The check engine light will blink in a pattern that the app analyzes.
