BFG Watch Faces

Make a watch face that is yours.

BFG Watch Faces is a design studio for Wear OS dials. Choose a style, set your colours, and watch the dial redraw as you move each slider. When you like what you see, give it a name — and that name is what the face is called from then on.

SEVEN ENGINE-TURNED PATTERNS

Rosette, barleycorn, clous de Paris, lattice, sunburst, botanical and knotwork — the guilloché patterns traditionally cut into fine watch dials. They are drawn fresh from your settings every time, not picked from a short list of presets, so two people almost never end up with the same dial.

FOUR QUIET SURFACES

Grain, brushed, carbon and linen, for when a pattern is more than you want.

EVERY LINE IS ENGRAVED, NOT PRINTED

Each stroke is drawn three times: a light pass, a dark pass, and a fine one between them. That is what gives a real engraved dial its depth, and it is what gives this one its depth too.

COLOURS THAT ARE ACTUALLY YOURS

Dial and ink are set independently. So are the pattern's scale and density, the sheen across the surface, and the shadow at the rim. Nothing is locked.

COMPLICATIONS ON YOUR DIAL

Steps, heart rate, battery, date, day of week, world clock, your next event, sunrise and sunset, unread notifications, a favourite contact, or a shortcut to an app — placed in the slots around the dial.

ON YOUR WATCH: A TILE AND TWO COMPLICATIONS

Swipe from any watch face to the Cycle day tile — the day of your cycle, how long your last period ran, and your average cycle length. Tap it to open the cycle section of your health app on your phone.

The app also adds two complications, which you can place on any watch face, including ones you did not design here:

• Cycle day — the day of your cycle, as a plain number.

• Note from your phone — a short note you type on the phone, appearing on your wrist without rebuilding or re-sending the face.

Cycle day reads the period dates you already keep in Health Connect, only if you allow it. A design using it stays on your phone and is never shared.

NO ACCOUNT, NO ADVERTISING, NO TRACKING

There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to opt out of. The app collects no personal data and contains no analytics or advertising libraries at all.
