Then & Now — stand where the photographer stood. Drag a seam across a paired archive photograph and the present-day view, and watch a street, a square or a facade change. The distance to each photo location is worked out on your own device.

Dates, availability, options and payment all live on berlinexperiences.com. Tapping through to book opens that tour's page in your browser, where you can check availability and pay securely. Nothing is bought or paid for inside the app.

PRIVACY

The app collects nothing. There is no account to create, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. If you allow location access, your position is used on your device to work out how far away something is, and is never sent anywhere. The camera is used only as a live viewfinder on the Then & Now screen — no photograph is taken, saved or uploaded.

ABOUT BERLIN EXPERIENCES

Founded in 2006 by historian Matt Robinson, Berlin Experiences runs private tours for individuals, families, schools, journalists, authors and broadcasters. Tours cover the city's medieval roots, Prussian grandeur, Weimar excess, the Third Reich, the Second World War, and the Cold War division of the city.
