Axis Tile turns access control and checking-in βon-its-headβ, making a mobile phone the reader, and the QR code or NFC tag the location identifier. It allows users to unlock doors or register themselves at any location, simply by scanning an Axis Tile with their mobile device.
This solution provides an inexpensive, easy-to-deploy alternative to traditional card, pin code or QR code-based readers, with no need for power. By linking the account to an individual mobile phone, Axis Tile stops credential sharing, a problem with all traditional solutions, whilst delivering an easy to use customer experience.
Axis Tile is fully integrated with all Axis Communications access control devices such as the A1001, A9161 and A1601. Axis Tile also sends an open door command to all Axis Communications cameras that have the I/O functionality.
