what we offer

The Autobahn app is aimed at users of German highways who are looking for additional reliable information about federal highways in addition to the options available in the navigation app they use. Frequent users in particular, such as commuters or professional drivers, receive valuable additional information about the current traffic situation and planned and current construction sites. Road closures are also integrated into the app. The app can also be linked directly to your personal navigation app.

The Autobahn app is of course free and ad-free.

Route check:

The most important feature of the Autobahn app is the route check: Simply enter your starting and destination points and select other intermediate destinations if necessary. The app shows you the current traffic situation, provides information about the exact route and offers the option of switching directly to your navigation app from there. The route you entered will then be applied automatically. Do you often travel the same routes? Then you should save as many routes as you want locally in the Autobahn app. This means you don't have to enter the data again and again and you always have an overview of your preferred routes.

Traffic reports / closures / construction sites:

Broken down by individual motorway, you will find detailed information on permanent or daily construction sites in these sections. Not only are current reports stored here, information on planned construction sites, closures or other foreseeable traffic disruptions can also be accessed here. So you already know today what awaits you on your route in the future!

Parking, refueling, resting:

Are you looking for the next rest area or gas station on your route and want to know what services you can expect there? You can find all this information under the “Parking, refueling, resting” section. The exact equipment of the rest area or parking space, the number of truck and car parking spaces and the location are described. But existing restaurants, kiosks, sanitary facilities, shopping facilities and much more are also listed in detail. This means you can plan your break precisely in advance. You will also find live information about available truck parking spaces at selected rest areas.

E-charging stations:

Are you driving your electric vehicle on the highway? Then it's good to know where the e-charging stations are along your route. The exact location can be found here as well as the provider, the plug type and of course the charging power and the number of charging stations available. From the app you can switch directly to your own navigation app and be guided to the selected charging station.
