Athena is a smart technology that uses satellite and cellular Wi-Fi routers to establish a local hotspot for voice and real-time data connectivity allowing exchange of photos, maps, documents and other data, and provide worker safety check-ins.

Imagine you are starting your day. It’s -30 Celsius and there is 60cm of snow and ice and it is very stormy. Oh, and you have no means of communication. You turn on the tablet in your vehicle and Athena greets you! She presents the day’s most critical issues and asks if she can check you in for the day. Athena continues to monitor your work and ensure everything you need is available. Every two hours, Athena ensures you are safe and summons help if you’re overdue and can’t be reached.
