ATA Poker Cards

An estimation based technique used by Agile team for determining features.

ATA Poker Cards is a consensus bases estimation technique. This technique is used by individuals in an Agile Team in determining the story points for features.Each member receives a prepared deck of cards with the numbers representing the estimated hours. They discuss the particular feature or the user story which is under consideration and eventually come out with the best estimate in completing the feature. The individuals must be able to justify their selection to the entire team. This process is continued until the team reaches a consensus on a estimate.
