The game world is created on the basis of procedural generation, so each astoneer planet will have a unique look and offer a unique set of tests. Players will not only look for the resources and secrets, but also engaged in terraforming, to build its own industrial base, to modernize transport and equipment and to withstand harsh conditions. astoneer can be held either alone or as part of a small team together with other astoneer players.
