Spectrogram viewing and interaction

Aspect Pro builds spectrograms in portrait or landscape and supports full screen viewing for detailed inspection. You can zoom along the time axis to focus on short events, and frequency axis zoom is available with Advanced features by subscription. It can automatically rebuild the view on screen rotation, and you can also “hear” positions on the spectrogram for quick orientation.

Format support and audio sources

Next, Aspect Pro supports Android audio formats through the device’s system decoders and shows the codec characteristics in use. You can choose a specific channel from stereo or multi channel recordings to inspect one side at a time. Advanced adds high performance FFmpeg decoding for most audio formats and lets you select an audio stream from a video file, which requires a subscription.

Display controls and navigation

Finally, you control how information appears on screen. The app displays album, song, and artist information when available, and you can adjust label and text size for readability. It also offers multiple color palettes, with flexible options in Advanced, plus folder file scrolling in Advanced, and it contains no ads.
