The Australasian Sonographers Association (ASA) is the professional organisation for Australasian sonographers who are the experts in ultrasound.

With over 7,000 members, and a membership of more than 75% of Australasia’s sonographers, the ASA provides professional development, contributes to clinical recommendations and guidelines, and supports and disseminates research on sonography to members.

The ASA plays a pivotal role in supporting and advocating for the profession, it also sets a benchmark for standards and excellence ensuring sonographers provide the best possible outcomes in ultrasound for their patients.
