VMBC takes place over three days, two nights. In a sixty-hour weekend period participants are expected to live like a production army, on the battlegrounds of production as a unit.

While eating, sleeping, and breathing production, Video Makers will learn and be apart of the intricacies of the complete production process crammed into a hands-on weekend. Video Makers will produce a three to ten minute short film, that is a continuity driven, watchable story, from concept, to pre- production, to production, to post-production, to finish product, with a beginning, middle, and end. Video Makers will leave the VMBC location with a Certificate Of Completion and a copy of the completed project with their name in the credits for your reel and lots of contacts as well as a life long experience of what it takes to eat, sleep, and breathe, production on location.

Video Makers will learn to write a script, produce the script and edit the movie, gaining an hands on working fundamental knowledge of the video making process outside of the traditional Classroom.

Participants will be expected to operate under a strict Army style, production schedule; to include living on location at designated location, sleep in tents in sleeping bags. (Each participant will be provided their own sleeping quarters) All meals will be provided.

Please note that the entire Production process will be recorded. It will be shopped to Networks for National Syndication, advertised on the Video Makers Boot-Camp, In The Bean Network’s website, as well as on others such as Youtube, Vimeo, Ustream, etc.
