“The Mental Club” is an INDIAN technology blog, technology lovers can read, write, speak and discuss on technology on this platform.

The domain name of The Mental Club (thementalclub.com) had been registered on Oct 18, 2014. But, the founder of this tech blog (Biswajit Das) initially thought about this type of blog more than one year ago from the date of registration. At first, Mr. Biswajit Das started a Bengali Website (bengaliwebsite.com) about tech with the same aim. But, he realized that it is not possible to reach each and every people. Because 99% of people of the world don’t know the Bengali language. For this reason, he concerned for an English tech based site. One day (Sept 21, 2014), he called his five friends to Azimganj Hi-Tech Computer Education Centre in the evening for discussing the English tech site. The gradually added five co-staffs are – Amit Das (Contact Email: amitmitudas92@gmail.com), Agniva Sihi (Contact Email: sihi.jain@gmail.com), Biswajit Rabi Das (Contact Email: wb.w.ctc@rediffmail.com), Bijay Das (smartbijay99@rediffmail.com) and Rajat Jain (rajatjain115@yahoo.in). They decided that the domain name of this English tech site will be (mentalclub.com) but, it was a premium domain. They had not enough money for buying this domain. The price of this premium domain was ₹55,000 (INR)/ $830 USD. For this reason, they added “THE” in front of “MENTALCLUB.COM“. Finally, they decided the name of this English tech blog (THEMENTALCLUB.COM) on Sept 21, 2014. The Mental Club – launched November 21, 2014, in worldwide for the tech lovers, along with a slogan “Social Website of Technology, where you are a technologist…” The first article published on: November 21, 2014.
