Half a Date is an app developed by the Heroic Hearts Organization to provide food to families struggling to survive in war-torn communities around the globe.

And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive. (Al Quran Al Kareem 76:8)

A man asked the Prophet (Peace be upon him) , "What sort of deeds or (what qualities of) Islam are good?" The Prophet (Peace be upon him) replied, 'To feed (the poor) and greet those whom you know and those whom you do not Know (Sahih al-Bukhari 12).
