Approximately 21.3 million refugees come into America, escaping hardship in search for a new life. 4Refugee is an app dedicated to these refugees to help them assimilate and promote peace in their local communities. It facilitates easy access to basic information like jobs, transportation, food and, culture in their own ethnic language. The language screen enables refugees to learn basic English words and their pronunciations. The transportation screen supplies local transportation information. The social screen provides information on US holidays; the job screen lists available jobs. This prototype app helps refugee’s kickstart their new life in a new country.
