AltC puts the terminals of your own computer on your phone.
Install the free altc server on your Mac, Linux or Windows computer, pair your phone with a one-time code or QR code, and every terminal it runs is here: live, with the full screen, and still running when you close the app.
What you can do
• Open, watch and type into your computer's terminals, with a keyboard bar for Esc, Tab, Ctrl and arrows
• Run Claude Code, Codex and other coding agents, and answer them from your phone
• Get an alert when an agent finishes or needs you
• Group terminals by project, and see what each one shows at a glance
• Browse your computer's files, download a file or a whole folder, and open the web servers it runs
• Speak instead of typing, with your own Groq key
Private by design
• AltC talks to your own computer. Your terminals are not stored on our servers, unless you choose a cloud machine.
• Each phone gets its own token, which you can sign out at any time.
• With the optional altc cloud account you can reach your computer from any network. The relay carries only end-to-end encrypted traffic.
• Cloud machines (early access): a Linux computer we run for you, with altc on it and its disks encrypted. Pair with it from the altc cloud dashboard.
• Download all your altc cloud data, or delete your account, at any time.
• No ads and no analytics.
