For the most reliable experience, allow notifications and exact alarms when your phone prompts you. On some phones, set battery usage to “Unrestricted” for the app.

Tips for reliability

Ensure system Alarm volume is turned up and Do Not Disturb is off (or allow alarms during DND).

On Android 12 and above, enable “Alarms & reminders” for the app in system settings.

Some manufacturers (e.g., Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo) require you to disable battery restrictions or allow autostart for apps that need to ring on time.
