Al-minahus Saniyyah Sheikh Sayyid Abdul Wahhab asy-Sya’rani

al-Minah as-Saniyyah is a work written by Shaykh Sayyid ‘Abd al-Wahhab asy-Sya'rani as a commentary on Sheikh Abu Ishaq Ibrahim's al-Matbuliy in the book Qomi’ ath-Thughyaan. This book discusses the things that must be done a salik (spiritual path walker) in undergoing the tariqa. The style of language used is quite simple and easy to understand for beginners and spiritual practitioners who are new to the tarekat. The communicative impression is very much felt, as if the writer spoke directly and faced with the reader. So that the language displayed uses many command sentences or direct prohibit sentences.

Sayyid ‘Abd al-Wahab as-Sya’rani in this book mentions some of the opinions of scholars and Sufi experts from classical times. And also mentioned in it the hadiths and verses that become arguments to support the theories raised in this book. This aims to make it easier for the reader to understand and make it easier for the reader to understand the purpose of his writing in this book.

In the book of al-Minah as-Saniyah, it is mentioned several steps that must be followed by a salik to climb the spiritual ladder. Each of these stairs has a link between one rung with another rung. When one of the steps is not taken, then the salik will not reach its destination.
