The waste management Hohenlohekreis provides all citizens with a free waste information app.

The waste app expands the service offered by waste management and complements the conventional internet presence. Users can use the Waste app to display the regular collection dates of the residual waste bin, recycling bin packaging, recycling bin paper etc. on their smartphone. Holiday shifts in the discharge dates are automatically taken into account.

Via the waste app, all recycling centers, recycling yards and container locations can be called up on the smartphone. An integrated search function makes it possible to find the disposal location nearest to the place of residence or current location via GPS navigation.

These functions are supplemented by a waste ABC. Here can be queried with the disposal option for all relevant substances.

With the function defect detectors, the waste management hopes for a citizen's help: here full glass containers, contaminated container locations or "wild garbage" deposits can be communicated directly via app, location announcement and photo.
