Formerly, it was easy to find all the free wooden pallets you wanted. With the rise in popularity of pallet wood decor, and pallet furniture recycling projects, free pallets have become very elusive. While it takes a little more work these days, free pallets can still be found if you look in the right place.

Wooden pallets, usually used in shipping, can be turned into sleek designs for both for indoor and outdoor furniture. Using basic woodworking skills and a few furniture ideas, wooden pallets can be turned into unique designs for coffee tables, sofas, beds, chairs, patio seating, shoe cabinets, bookcases, kitchen worktops and almost any piece of furniture you desire. Wooden pallets are eco-friendly and can withstand heavy weights and rough handling. Pallets are at best inexpensive and usually free, they look great for both indoor and outdoor furniture.

If you’ve ever searched for wood pallet crafts, you’ll know that there are a lot of projects shown, but so many of them don’t have instructions. When I search for crafts I especially look for the ones that include tutorials.

Although I enjoyed looking at all the wood pallet crafts, and I can do-it-yourself that now that I am retired, I know that many folks don’t have the time to isolate the ones with directions.
