The Lives of the Saints are a kind of Orthodox encyclopedia. In them can be found everything that is needed by the soul hungry and thirsty for eternal justice and eternal truth in this world, hungry and thirsty for divine immortality and eternal life. If you have faith, you will find it abundantly in them: and you will feed your soul with food, from which you are never hungry. If you long for love, for truth, for justice, for hope, for meekness, for calmness, for repentance, for prayer, or for any virtue and deed, in them you will find countless holy teachers for every deed and receive gracious help for every virtue. Are you in torment because of your faith in Christ - the Lives of the Saints will comfort and encourage you and make you happy and shelter, and turn your sufferings into joy. Are you in any temptation, the Lives of the Saints will help you to overcome it now, and always. If you are in danger from the invisible enemies of salvation, the Lives will arm you with the whole armor of God (cf. Eph. 6: 11,13), and you will destroy them all now, always, and throughout your life. If you are in the midst of visible haters and persecutors of the Church of Christ, the Lives will give you confessional courage and strength, and you will fearlessly confess the only true God and Lord in all worlds - Jesus Christ, , and you will feel stronger than all deaths, let alone than all visible enemies of Christ; and tormented for Christ, you will click with joy, feeling with all your being that your life is in heaven, hidden with Christ in God, all above all deaths ... (cf. Col. 3: 3).

May eternal glory be to Justin Popovic and to God who glorified him. May his prayers and his intercession before God, for us Serbs, grant every good and our family and birth!

As for the rules of fasting, I leave it to you to agree with your priest or pastor about the rules of fasting.
