Microcontroller Based Systems and Robotics Hub (μCR), as the name suggests is the Robotics Hub of Jaypee Institute of Information Technology. To develop interest in robotics the hub start with manual robotic lectures and workshops. Automation and Robotics are introduced using microcontrollers. Lecture and workshop are conducted based on Arduino board with various sensors and actuators. This hub conducts various workshops and lectures on automation and robotics specifically designed for students of all years in both Odd and Even semesters. Every year this hub organize annual Robotics events during the college Tech-fests, which are among the most well-known Robotics events in the National Capital Region.
μCR is based on a very simple concept of learning, that is, by teaching: all senior students who specialize in their respective fields take classes for first and second years on a regular basis, who in turn will teach their juniors in the future as the academic calendar changes.
We have a team of skilled mentors from both third and fourth year who have proved their mettle at many Robotics events held at many esteemed colleges of India including ~IITs, ~DCE, ~NSIT, ~IIITs And the list goes on. We have experience of conducting workshops and organizing events during college fests. The main aim of the cell is to enrich the technical ability of the students and learn modern technology and advance towards them. This cell helps in building teamwork capacity, leader capacity and many more issues. μCR is well versed in Manual as well as Autonomous Robotics, and put a step forward to improve the technical knowledge in these and keep innovating.
All the above offers more opportunities and capabilities. The workshops and competitions are organized with zeal and enthusiasm to share with the participants the passion of innovation and provide them a competitive environment to polish their skills and enhance their problem solving abilities. It also encourages and facilitates student participation in various national, international, and online programming competitions.
