Sound Street Radio

聲電台街是日本的網上電台廣播音樂。

Sound Street Radio 990 (SSR) is an independent internet only Radio Station based in Yamagata Japan. Its currently run by three DJ's with a devotion to good quality Music.

Each DJ presents a one hour show featuring a mix of Western / Japanese Rock, Pop,

Hip Hop, and Reggae music in each show, in both Japanese and English languages.

This all came about because of the lack of good quality radio stations in Japan.

There's to much talk and not enough music, and they don't seem to cater enough

for young people and lovers of good quality music. So we thought, lets try and

shake things up a little!

At the moment there are only three DJ's (Steve Daisuke and Tox) but we hope to grow

​our stable of DJ's in the New Year!

Our aim is to provide a platform for young enthusiastic Japanese DJ's and to support New Music from around the World into Japan. So we hope you like our style and choice of Music in each of the shows. Please be a regular Listener to SSR. Best regards Steve...
