Ryze is a quiet place for the things you want to say later.
Write a letter to future you, or to a close friend, and seal it. It arrives on the day you pick, somewhere inside a window, or as a surprise. Until then nobody can read it, not even you.
Letters hold the whole range of feeling: joy, hope, tenderness, confession, grief. You choose a mood when you write, and the arrival follows it. A joyful letter gets a small celebration. A heavy one arrives still and quiet, with room to take your time.
LETTERS THAT ARRIVE LATER
• Write to yourself or to a friend on Ryze.
• Pick an exact day, a window, or a surprise, from tomorrow up to 25 years ahead.
• Send one letter to as many as five arrival dates. On a later arrival you see what you felt the time before.
• A friend says yes before your letter is on its way to them.
• Once a letter to a friend is sealed, it's theirs. You don't keep a copy unless they choose to share it back.
• When a letter arrives you can open it, write a reflection, write back, or let it go unread.
FEARS, CHECKED AGAINST REALITY
• Name a worry and the outcomes you can imagine, from worst to best.
• Mark the one you expect and the day you'll know.
• When the day comes, Ryze asks how it really went.
• Over time you can see how often things turned out kinder than you feared, and leave a note for the next time you're scared.
A DAILY JOURNAL
• A plain page for each day, with optional question sets such as an evening check-in, or your own.
• Missed a day? You can still go back and fill in the past week.
• A calendar shows which days have pages. No streaks, no scores.
ASK YOUR FRIENDS
• Ask friends a question with two to four answers.
• Every answer comes with a short reason why, shown once you've answered too.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Letters, moods, reflections, fears, journal pages and poll questions are end-to-end encrypted on your phone. Our server stores only scrambled text it cannot read.
• Your key stays on your phone. A recovery code you write down lets a new phone unlock everything. If you lose both the phone and the code, nobody can read your letters, including us.
• Lock Ryze with your fingerprint, face unlock or screen lock if you like.
• Friends find you only by your exact @handle. There's no public feed and no browsing of people.
• Block or report someone, or a letter or poll they sent.
• Save everything as a readable Markdown journal or as structured JSON, and delete your account in the app at any time.
MAKE IT YOURS
• Two looks: Zen, with paper and ink, or Flashy, with colour and confetti. Each comes in light and dark.
• Pick a different app icon if you like.
Ryze is for adults and teens 13 and older. It is a place to write and reflect, not a medical or mental health service. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services.
