Gift a Talk

An activity for sharing happiness in your community

Story behind: I am Prima from Hong Kong. I started a 365 days challenge in the early of 2014: In each day I would ask a stranger to share a personal story, and I will pass the story to the person I meet in the next day. I named this activity as “Gift a Talk”, meaning that each story is actually a meaningful gift. People talk about their hobbies, jobs difficulties,travelling experience, inspiring quotes…

I made many new friends (over 300) and I really learn a lot from their stories, as they all have different culture, backgrounds & lifestyles.

And someone shared this inspiring proverb to me:

Shared joy is joy doubled Shared sorrow is sorrow halved

Then I come up with an idea: Can I make a app for Gift a Talk? So that I can invite more people to join this meaningful activity?

This is how "Gift a Talk" is born. We believe sharing your stories /feelings can create positive effect to you and the people around. It is not just an app, but an interesting activity that you can perform with your friends or in your workplace.
