This app It is a playful attempt to gamify networking at the Women Deliver Conference in Copenhagen. If you are here to network, then this is the app for you: every time you validate a contact you earn 20 reward points (called tiko). At the end of the conference you may be able to redeem your tikos for gift vouchers.

TriggeriseMe is brought to you by Triggerise - a non-profit that is building entire eco-systems around rewards and rewards-based platforms that motivate people to make positive choices. We also hope that by using this app we manage to expose you to some of the simple principles behind our work and to simulate experiences we facilitate daily for people in our markets - worlds away from Copenhagen.

In these underserved communities life changes in an instant. A single illness or dry season can mean the difference between getting by and spiraling into destitution that can last for generations. That’s why effective aid calls for a dynamic, user-centric approach that introduces powerful incentives to help people overcome these barriers as they arise.

Our solutions are built around people. We believe in giving communities and small providers the power to access and deliver aid on their own terms—all while adding value back into their economies.

Like every other organization out there, we are proud of our work and would like to show you what we do. Sure, we could point you to our annual report or show you yet another power point, poster or brochure.

But let’s be honest: it would have been very hard for us to grab your attention. We are too small, and we suck at beating our own drums.

That is why we are trying something different. When we noticed that there isn't an official app for WD2016, we decided to build one quickly. It is a very basic app: it will help you validate your networking efforts, keep track and review your interactions and it will reward you for doing so.

At Triggerise, we have technology in our DNA. We can build an app very fast - we do it all the time. We follow the principles of agility/ continuous delivery: we build basic versions and deploy them right away. Then we update continuously, based on user feedback. We built this app in a few days - very, very fast.

Throughout the week we will also push updates as we learn about its use. So you may find that it will get better every day.

Quick instructions:

-- Log in/ Sign up --

When you open the app, it will prompt you to log in or sign up. You can log in with your linkedin profile or with your G+ profile. Alternatively you can simply sign up: you will need to provide a name, an email and the name of your organization.

-- Validate your Networking Efforts --

Every time you interact with someone at the conference who also has the app, you can validate this interaction. One of you opens "My profile" - this will display a small QR code. The other one taps "Validate new contact", which will allow the scanning of the QR code. Once scanned, the interaction has been validated and both of you earn 20 reward points.

-- Your Contacts --

Tapping "Contacts Overview" will pull a basic dashboard that will help you analyze and review your completed interactions.

-- Your Rewards --

Every time you validate a new contact you will earn 20 reward points, called Tiko. Once you passed a minimum threshold of Tikos (minimum 20 validated contacts/ 400 Tikos), you will be able to cash out your Tiko in the form of Gift Cards at the rate of 1 Tiko = $0.01 USD.

Reward earning will be capped at $10 USD/per person. This means that even users earning more than 2,000 Tiko - the equivalent of $20 USD - will receive a $10 USD gift card.
