Shalgar Hosiery was established 1948 by Mr. Shankarsa Babasa Shalgar who grew & was trained in the Garment field for almost 27 years & then after their sons are continuity their family business till date who are professionals in handling various responsibilities of the business smoothly.

Initial shop was only known for hosiery items, but in 1986 added school uniforms, then after developed indigenous ethnic wears such as Baby Saree, Ghagra Choli, Parkar Blouse, Dhoti Suit, Salwar Set, Sherwani etc. Arrange sales of each item in such way that there should continuous sales for 12 months.

Mr. Shankarsa Babasa Shalgar was a very hard worker & fully supported by his wife late Smt Sushanta S Shalgar since 1975 to 2004. In 1978 Srikant Shalgar at the age of 18 yrs join the business. He was working under guidance of his father up to 1982, after expiry of S B Shalgar he developed the business with the support of his brother Mr. Prashant Shalgar he join the business in 1985 & then his younger brother Mr. Milind Shalgar join in 1988. All family members and developed readymade garments business, today all these branches are running under his management with the help of family members.

Organization currently running business of resale of readymade garments, specially goodwill in ethnic wear & School uniforms, all branches has at present at optimum level which has higher rate of sale compare to space.

We have a very sophisticated manufacturing unit installed production having the capacity of 25000 units of garments per month. Our unit is equipped with Japanese technology. It is an integrated garmenting technology.

Our infrastructure has played an important role in giving us the status that we have acquired in the market. We have a team of skilled craftsman who constantly innovate and manufactures a totally distinct array of breathtakingly beautiful garments for men, women and kids.

Our garmenting equipment has the specified infrastructure like single needle machine, overlock & Flat Lock Machine, Pico Machine, Zigzag Machine, Trimmer Machine, Buttonhole & Button Fixing Machine etc.

Our first and foremost objective is Quality control and Client satisfaction. Our production is backed by our strong Quality control department, which takes, of the consistency in quality by their Q-check on raw material, work in progress and Finished goods.

Our quality standards are very stringent that each and every piece is inspected by our team of quality controllers and stamped for quality approvals.
