I am putting Touch Base on the Google app store in hopes that it helps others. Please note that this free version contains ads.
Note: I have no affiliation with the authors of the Never Eat Alone book but I do recommend the book, especially for individuals that are not naturally social or need some help maintaining healthy relationships. This is not about maintaining a relationship with your significant other, but maintaining relationships with your colleagues, friends, family, etc. As a side note, a decent book that I recommend for maintaining a healthy relationship with your significant other is "Rewire Your Brain for Love: Creating Vibrant Relationships Using the Science of Mindfulness" by Marsha Lucas (also, to which I have no affiliation).
Use this app to keep in touch with people that matter to you.
It will help you keep track of:
- people that you want to have healthy relationships with
- the last time that you touched base with each person on your list
- historical information about each time you touched base with each person on your list (known as notes)
- maintain relationships by keeping in touch with people at intervals that you specify
You can import contacts from your Android contacts list.
You can set intervals for how often you want to keep in touch with people. Some people you might want to touch base with once a year, others you might want to touch base with once a month. This app will notify you when it's time to touch base. If you have not added a note for a person, and you are overdue to touch base with them, then the app will remind you once a day (or another configurable rate) via a notification to touch base with the person.
You can initiate a phone call or email directly from notification reminders that inform you to keep in touch with people.
In preparing to touch base with someone, you can review all of the previous notes that you've made with that person prior to meeting with them.
