Beginning in Melbourne as a one-man business in 1982 by Jim Penman, dedication to customer service led him to establish the Jim’s Mowing Franchise system. Over the last decade Jim’s Mowing has expanded to become a leader in lawn mowing and garden services, with an extensive network of nearly 2,000 franchisees globally, just in the mowing sector.

Jim’s Mowing took a punt in June, 1994, when Keven Clarke and Malcolm Wallwork came across from Melbourne to set up Jim’s Mowing Auckland. They have grown the business to have franchisees servicing many thousands of regular clients throughout Auckland. Malcolm Wallwork retired at the end of June 2011, and his place has been taken by former Rugby World Cup winning All Black Bernie McCahill.
