Patternify - Pattern Maker

Patternify turns a single shape into a seamless pattern you can use anywhere - a phone wallpaper, a desktop background, wrapping paper, or a print for the wall.

Pick a traditional motif, crop a photo from your gallery, or draw your own shape with your finger. The app repeats it into a pattern that tiles perfectly in every direction, with no visible seams and no design skills needed.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

- Start from 16 traditional motifs: cherry blossom, camellia, plum blossom, chrysanthemum, leaf, maple, bamboo, hemp leaf, blue waves, cloud, crane, koi, seven treasures, star, diamond and dot

- Turn any photo into a motif. Pan and zoom to choose the part you want, and the app builds a seamless tile out of it

- Draw your own motif by hand. A live strip under the canvas shows how your strokes repeat while you are still drawing

- Mix up to four shapes in one pattern. Spread them alternating, checkered or at random, or overlay them stacked in the same cell

- Borrow a shape from any of the built-in patterns to drop into your mix

- Choose from 12 traditional color palettes, or pick your own colors by hand

- Shape the repeat with six symmetries: grid, brick, mirror, four fold kaleidoscope, six fold kaleidoscope and diamond

- Drag the canvas to spin and resize the motif, and slide to change the repeat count, the scale and the position of the symmetry axis

- Preview your pattern at real size on A5 to A3 paper, shown in both centimetres and inches, so you know exactly how it prints

- Export at 2048 pixels as a PNG, ready for a wallpaper, a print, fabric or stationery

NOTHING TO SAVE

Every pattern you touch is recorded in your library on its own. There is no save button to forget. Keep adjusting and the same pattern updates instead of piling up drafts, so you can come back to any of them later to rename, remix or export again.
