FlowT: Floating Video Browser

FlowT is a web browser that keeps a video playing in a small floating player while you browse, read, or search. Float up to four videos at once and watch them over your phone’s home screen.

AUTO-FLOWT: PASTE, GO, WATCH

Paste a web address on the Home page and tap Go. FlowT opens the page and floats its video for you, with no extra taps. Your recent addresses are saved so you can jump back in. Friends can also send you a link that opens straight in Auto-FlowT: flowt://open?u=, or a flowt.brain-spell.com/open link.

FLOAT ANY VIDEO

On any page with a video, tap Float video. The video pops out into a mini player that stays on top while you use other pages and tabs. Drag it anywhere, pull its corner to resize, twist it with two fingers to turn it, or double-tap for full screen. A time bar, a LIVE button for live streams, and mute and stop buttons keep you in control.

UP TO 4 AT ONCE

Every floating video also lives on the Screens page, a full-screen space for your players. Arrange up to four freely, or snap them into a 2×2 grid, a 1+3 layout (turn your phone sideways) or four stacked rows. Drag one player onto another’s box to swap places. The first video keeps its sound; the others start muted so they don’t talk over each other.

FREE AND PRO

• Free: the whole browser, one floating player, and picture-in-picture, always.

• Multi-player: your first hour is on us. When the time is up, watch a short optional ad to unlock another hour, as often as you like.

• FlowT Pro: $0.99 per month or $9.99 per year. Multi-player with no ads and no time limit. Cancel any time in Google Play > Subscriptions.

KEEP WATCHING OVER OTHER APPS

Leave FlowT and the top video keeps playing in Android’s picture-in-picture window, over your home screen and other apps. Resize it or move it, and turn the video with the rotate button.

A CLEAN, FAST BROWSER

• Tabs, a bookmarks menu and a start page with your favorite sites

• Pop-ups stay inside FlowT instead of opening other apps

• Private browsing tabs: no accounts, and tabs don’t keep cookies or history

• Ads only when your free multi-player time runs out and you choose to watch one; FlowT Pro removes them

Try it with videos from YouTube, Vimeo, the Internet Archive, NASA and any other site with video you’re allowed to watch.

FlowT is a browser. It doesn’t host, copy, or record videos; it changes how a video from the page you’re visiting is shown on your screen.
