Countdown

Countdown: Death Timer is a fictional death countdown app for Android, built for fans of cinematic horror. An ominous timer fills your screen as each second slips away. Enable the heartbeat to deepen the atmosphere, then return whenever you want to see how the countdown has changed.

Your fictional deadline is randomly generated on your device. It stays saved between sessions, so closing the app does not restart the timer. Open it again to pick up the suspense.

Features

• Atmospheric feedback: Set the mood with optional haptic feedback and heartbeat audio. The heartbeat follows each visible second. Control each effect independently.

• Dark design: Immerse yourself in a full-screen interface with a pure black background. Watch leading time values turn red as they reach zero.

• Last Words: Give your experience a personal voice. Write notes that stay on your device. Delete, edit, pin, or share entries whenever you choose.

• Local event logs: Revisit countdown milestones, notification changes, snapshot creation, sound changes, and vibration changes in a timestamped history.

• Offline experience: Access your countdown, Last Words, logs, and settings without an internet connection.

• Optional notifications: Choose whether to receive local countdown reminders. Manage notification preferences directly in Settings.

• Private by design: No advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking. Your data is stored locally on your device. No account or subscription is required.

• Responsive layout: Enjoy the experience on supported Android phones and tablets, with support for landscape and portrait use.

• Snapshot sharing: Capture your countdown as an image. Share the moment through Android's built-in sharing tools.

• Source code: Countdown is open source under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.
