SURE includes a wide IR database that helps match many brands and models. During setup, you choose the brand and then test keys until you find a working profile. This process reduces trial and error and helps you bring non-connected devices into the same remote screen as your smart equipment.

Flexible hardware options for IR control

If your phone has a built-in IR blaster, SURE can send commands directly. If it does not, you can use a compatible Broadlink WiFi to IR converter to bridge commands from your phone to legacy devices. The converter is sold separately, and once it is on the same network, SURE maps your controls to IR without extra accessories.

Casting and built-in media player

SURE can stream photos, videos, and music from your phone to a smart TV over WiFi or DLNA. The media player supports popular formats and organizes your library for quick casting. You can also copy files on your network between your phone and other devices, which helps move clips or songs before you play them on the TV.

Voice control and everyday conveniences

SURE includes voice control inside the app, so you can search or change inputs with simple speech commands after granting microphone access. It also offers small touches that help day to day, such as muting the TV when your phone rings. If you prefer a quieter interface, an optional ad free subscription is available.

Before you install SURE

Check what you plan to control and how it connects. Smart TVs and streamers usually work over your home WiFi. Older TVs and air conditioners often need Infrared. Phones with IR blasters can send commands directly. Phones without IR can work with a Broadlink WiFi to IR converter on the same network, which is sold separately.

SURE values quick access without an account sign in. The app asks only for permissions it needs to perform tasks. Microphone access enables in app voice commands. Local media and network permissions allow casting and file copy. WiFi permissions are used to discover and control TVs and media streamers on your network.

Cannot find your device during setup. SURE maintains a large IR database, but some models may not appear. If that happens, email your brand and model details to the support address below so the team can advise on the closest match or future coverage. This is helpful for less common regional models.

How to use SURE on Android

After you download SURE and open it, setup takes only a few minutes for most TVs and streamers on the same WiFi. The process below covers both WiFi and Infrared paths in a simple flow.

1. Connect your phone and your smart TV or streamer to the same WiFi network, then open SURE and choose Add Device from the main screen.
2. Select your device type and brand. For Samsung, LG, Android TV, Roku, Kodi, or Fire TV, follow the on screen prompts and test basic keys like power or volume.
3. If you need Infrared, pick the IR option. With a phone that has an IR blaster, point at the device and test keys. If your phone lacks IR, set up a Broadlink WiFi to IR converter and let SURE discover it.
4. Grant permissions when asked. Allow microphone use for voice commands, and allow local media and network access for casting and file transfers.
5. To cast, open the Media tab, choose photos, videos, or music, then select your TV. To use voice, tap the microphone icon and say a command. To mute TV on calls, open Settings and enable the call mute option.
